Description

Did I mention that the holidays were not all fun-filled?

The pic is of the person this was inspired by and was taken by me at Xmas, flipped to greyscale, colourized, had its contrast upped and then I used on of the PSP8 effects...

Live in the shallows

Bring on your poison in smiles, and with hugs I'll deflect them with my pen shield myself with the truth leaving you in the darkness of delusion

consume your alcohol and your drugs and wonder why we stay away from you why we shy away from your slobbering overtures

blame your poor behaviour on anything except yourself on age, on infirmity, on disability, on us

Live in the shallows (if you can call that living) proclaiming you are waiting and wanting to die

I've had enough of this and enough of you it's time to say goodbye

I doubt you could be :) thanks :) Bitter could be handled to some extent but when coupled with alcoholism and self-pity and anger, it gets to be a lil much...

Miss Cara Mae. Wonderful writing. V. This reminds me, for some reason, of Ross Perot running for Prez' awhile back. Remember when he said ''everyone had a crazy uncle in the attic''? WINK. It seems everyone is depressed around here lately. Making old 'grumpy' TallPockets 'depressed' now, also. ~sigh~ Sure hope things improve .... for ALL.

a fundie is a fundamentalist, a religious person whose motto is 'my way or the [hell]highway ;)

That hit a spot. Christmas this year certainly has had its ups and down. I have to admit that it sometimes good just to say goodbye to things and move one.
