almost an excellent work: theme, poses, textures, props all very strong, but the poor lighting weakens the overall effect. Main source light here is the sun, so there is strong backlight from the rear upper left. all of the rocks are properly illuminated with shadows falling forward & to the right with very high contrast but then the two main characters totally defy this by having no edgelight on their upper right heads & shoulders (left hand side of the image), and there are no shadows on them created by that source. instead they are flatly front lit by a completely unmotivated source with none of the high contrast effect visible in the entire rest of the image. makes them look like they were just pasted on top of the background, not integrated into it. correct lighting here could raise the emotional impact of this image immensely.
