Description

This is a Christmas card, left over from the holidays. I am pretty sure I haven't posted this one here yet. Trying my hand at making hanging icicles hang from the house. They were not as easy as they seemed they would be. I struggled to get these to look real, still not so sure they do. The snowmen stickmen you see all lined up, I recreated those on the computer, from the real one's I have here. They are adorable and easy to make in real life. Using a wooden fence post's, you can buy at Home Depot, paint it solid white, then paint the pointy part red or green for his hat, and add either pom-pom's or cotton balls or paint on the fur around the edge of the hat. Then I simply paint a face on it nothing at all fancy, and I add a few decorations, like holly leaves or mini pinecones, down the front, for the button's. There is a stake at the bottom of these so they can be pounded into the ground. There is also a nail behind each one, so I can string the lights from one post to the next. These go in our front yard each Christmas and are really darling, when driving by. I have had many people stop and ask where I got them from. lol So now, all of you have a new Christmas craft project for next year! Thank you for viewing. Have a fantastic day!

Can I live at that house. Adorable, almost like a christmas candy house. I love the posts as well.. catch you as you open the image. Definitely worth making in RL... Can see them with tiny lights twinkling... Once more you've shown your special touch...
