This isn't a style I'm usually attracted to & I'm not sure why you placed it in the surrealism gallery, but I like it a lot - it seems very real & honest & has a very bold color palette. The background reminds me of entrances to plazas I've visited in either Siena or Lucca - is it based on one of those, somewhere else or just from your imagination? In any case, great work & happy new year to you also...
