Description
Little bit cheeky posting this in Bryce. But the engine was rendered in Bryce and wanted you guys to see it, rather than submitting to the bottomless void that is "mixed medium" ;-). The background is a photo I took last summer at Conner Prairie in Indiana. This is a Wings model and took most of the afternoon to do.
There's another few views of it (including an antiqued version) in the forum http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=107&Form.ShowMessage=2061281
Update - The model will be in my freestuff in a few days.

Thought those trees looked familar ;-) I was just in Indianapolis and Bloomingotn last week, and rented one of these from Hertz - it was all they had in the blizzard! [Wonderful modeling and blending, thanks for sharing it]

As always, I am in awe with your wonderful work. Excellent composite; the saturations, shadows and lighting match up very well! Cheers to you for the great artist and inspiration you've been for me. As 2004 is over and 2005 is now upon us I pray your year is as bright as you and your work have made this community!

Once again my friend you prove why you're one of my favorite artists. Brilliant model and fantastic blend of photo and model.

Great pic here. I loke the model and a great change for you. Is it based on an actual engine?

OK,.........nobody likes a show-off. "took most of the afternoon to do",............would take me most of a year to do. This mod is going to be made available to the rest of us modeling challenged ? Nice work ! (Grudgingly)

Dig it. I have a case tractor of roughly the same time period sitting on my shelf waiting for me to model it. Thanks for the inspiration. I think the model is great. The enamel look is terrific.
