Description

Hi folks, It's not quite midnight in my part of the world but it way past just about everywhere else, so happy new year to all of you. I started this image with the intention of dedicating it to a handful of people who I consider dear friends. As I thought about who I should name, I came to realize that I have a lot of good friends in this community. So many of you have offered encouragement and support. It took me a long time to figure out that this place is at least as much about friendship and community as it is about art, and that is a good thing. I seldom thank people individually for comments but I want you to know that I appreciate every one of them. I am not obsessed with comments like I used to be but I still appreciate them greatly because I know they are honest and real, so thank you. As for that handful of people, you are represented in this image by the thick stocks that support the rest of the structure. You have some texture on you because sometimes things just aren't smooth when dealing with me, but yet you still hold me up. You have my love and appreciation. My best to all of you, Keith

Wow, that's a stunning image! Wonderful details, I like the 'trees in the back' especially, they give a nice touch of depth to the overall picture. Great job!

Keith, I'm blown away by this. The rings could have come out of XD, they have a tremendous 3d feel. And that sphere is just out of this world. I know that this doesn't sound like a balanced view, but I'm seriously impressed by this work. Have a beautiful and creative 2005 Keith!! v

VERY cool framing job on this one, Keith, and I like the depth of the TIA - the dim layer in back. Heckuva nice touch.
