Goodbye "old" year!
That has taught me so much,
and brought me so much.
The pains and joys and
lessons earned, sometimes the
hard way.
Hello "new" year!
What will you bring?
Hopes and fears that come
from the unknown.
I welcome you with open arms,
but not always open eyes.
Maybe someday I will learn.
I never was much of a poet but I had the urge to write something for this image and the "something" this day represents. I look forward to another year of inspiration and satisfaction of being part of this community!
