Description

I saw this Vietnam Veteran was at Starbucks. I saw his motorcycle too. I took the picture about 15 minutes ago. His bike had a sticker that said "Casper The Friendly Ghost" and another about Vietnam. He was a pretty cool lookin' guy. Many Vietnam Vets were menally scarred by the negative feedback they recieved when they returned from the war. They were just following orders. Some resorted to suicide, some to drugs and some just crawled in a hole for the rest of thier lifes. If these "Jane Fondas" don't shut the heck up about the current war in Iraq, the soldiers could end up with more negative feedback than they already have, and end up having thier personalies/lives ruined as well. HOpe you like the picture. ^_^

I agree with sharky_ on this. I have a cousin who had a tough time after it, was a very tough war on its own, much less the way people treated them when they came home. Wonderfuly done all around job here.

he does look like a cool dude to hang out with, as a soldier that is currently deployed to Iraq, I can tell you that I am nervous about coming back. Also I have already recieved the negativity of which you speak, what's more is that I am sad to say that it happened here at renderosity. thank you for your support of veterans, past and present. He does look like a cool dude. I can't imagine anyone being negative to the soldiers...the war of course half the people are against. Maybe it's a matter of interpretation. I hope this guys scars have healed if there are any. Thanks for sharing!

I am a Vietnam veteran, and I appreciate your words. But I don't like it when people lump together patriotism, support for our soldiers and support for the current administration together. Not that you made that mistake, but many responding here did. One can be patriotic, support our troops, and still think Bush is an idiot. That is the freedom we soldiers fight and die to protect! We should keep the waters clear of the mud. God bless, and God speed to our troops!
