Molten rage surrounded by the ice crystals of peace...beautiful imagery captured by a wonderful innocent thought shared by so many, and ignored by the angry few. Each year our world learns and grows from all the pain and mistakes. Let's hope this year brings greater light and empathy to those that make teaching the young a priority in all counties. This does remind me of the embers in a fire place. The colors are bold and beautiful but still to hot to touch. The reds, oranges and yellows are perfectly blended together. Where's my rocking chair and hot chocolate!!!

This is really beautiful work! Love the sky, hot and molten, the black seems to be floating on a sea of darkness and destruction. Like Cosine I fear that we have gone too far, but hope will perhaps give us a little peace within ourselves.

Rik - the black Mandelbrots are interesting the way they rise up - the edges are wonderfully electric - so much energy sparking and the firey background is both warm and dynamic - bits floating away and swirling - destruction and creation at once
