This is my first try and still WIP. I have to get rid of the "nose glow"... no postwork!

Great job. Looks like a mug shot! sweet. Uh not that I would know from experience. Hehe. Um. never mind that last bit. Fantastic job! keep it up!

Interesting shot. A few things stand out....Obviously you've got a bright light from above - giving her forehead a great shine - love it. Although it has also lit her nose and top lip up - which you mentioned - probably a small angle change would fix it. In general, the RealSkinShader likes a main light that is in the vague direction on the camera, so if that top light is also your main light (for the RSS) - maybe consider having your main light one of the face lighting lights. Confused yet? I am! Also, the shadow effect you have got on her eyes is fantastic. Her lacrimals stand out a bit too much I think.
