Description
Global (well actually more like hemispherical) lighting in Vue 4.2. The image took 40 hours to render - good thing I'm a patient sort. I don't know if the terrain and water that are a part of this scene markedly increased the time or not - there are no equivalent objects in the Poser 4 rendering (also in my gallery).

Very well done! Yes, the water and bump of the terrain most likely account for half to three fourths of your rendering time, maybe more. Just for fun, you might set them to a default gray and let it do a couple of rendering passes to see a time estimate without them. I'm guessing it would be about 6-12 hours depending on your configuration. Still, this was well worth the patience.
