Born at the tail of the baby boom, James was introduced to drawing and painting at an early age by his parents. Now, nearly 65 years later, he still occasionally sketches and paints but for the most part uses computer graphics programs for image creation. His favorite programs are Blender, GIMP, Poser, and Vue. He currently lives in a small town in New Jersey, sharing his space with two cats and a human female.

WOW, awesome close up work. Love the lighting and the level of detail is awesome. Well done on a wonderful render. ----- Scott.

Very well done! Yes, the water and bump of the terrain most likely account for half to three fourths of your rendering time, maybe more. Just for fun, you might set them to a default gray and let it do a couple of rendering passes to see a time estimate without them. I'm guessing it would be about 6-12 hours depending on your configuration. Still, this was well worth the patience.

Incredible. I didn't think one could do this in Vue 4. Excellent work on hair and skin too. Bravo!
