Description

When I started creating this image, nobody could anticipate what happened short time later in the indic ocean. This image is made under the influence of the horrible earthquake, which costed so many lives in south-east Asia. This is not meant to be an instigation to donate. Don't misunderstand this, there is nothing wrong in donnating, but there are enough instigations yet. This image is meant to remind us, that we need to have the necessary humility for the forces of mother nature. Mostly We are still arrogant enough to ignore the matters needed to save our planet. believe it or not, if we don't stop exploiting the earth, gaia will fetch back what we steal her. In this case an earthquake will be a rather harmless impact. We have to take more care, we owe it to our children... excellent work and gradient, and I agree about the rape of nature. But the disaster in the Indian Ocean was a natural disaster that has happened before and will again unfortune as it will be.

Wonderful Image ... such a beautiful design. Great colors ! I can only agree with you .. we are to take care of our earth. I do also agree with yesitis .. that earthquakes will happen no matter what we do. But some disasters are coming because of us just exploiting our earth.

Very, very beautiful! The texture around the moon, makes it look as if it bathes in gold. The fire in the front reflects for me the fear of what happens if we do not take care of our earth, very scary. I doubt between Gaia and God, maybe I'll never decide... Is history decided by the future or is it the other way around? (ref. Maya, by Jostein Gaarder). Besides the filosophical and the atmosphere th eimages breathes: Lovely work!
