Sometimes we forget about the vets and the ultimate sacrifice they have made for our freedom in this country. I went wandering through the Retsil Graveyard in Port Orchard, WA one day this fall and took this photo of one soldiers grave stone. There are many stones and many rows of simple white concrete, and as I walked I could feel the ghosts of each soul as each head stone had a story to tell. Each one of them gave the ultimate sacrifice for each and every one of us to live our freedom. This photo was shot with available light and tells the tale of one man in a very bold way. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for each and every one of us in the USA. The only post production of this photo is simply the size alterations so you can view it.
