Not A Little Girl Anymore Created: March 2003 Created with: * POSER 4.03 (and rendered in) * Photoshop (slight soft focus effect) ====================== The title with the image is meant to meant to evoke a story in your mind. - Why is she carrying a doll AND a gun? - Why does she look angry? - Where is she going in such a hurry? In my own mind I had a kind of 'coming of age' spirit for the young lady in this image. This is one of my favourite images. - There's only one technical item that bugs me about the image and that is I forgot to bend her right (trailing) foot where it meets the floor. ;-) I can remember doing this project and trying to get the lighting just how I wanted it. I came up with the idea of putting a plain sphere temporarily on the floor near her front foot so that as I moved various lights around I could see how it affected the scene by how it shaded the ball. - Somebody here at home happened to see me working on the image in POSER and said, "What's she doing kicking a ball along?" ;-) I liked the character (RanRan) and the clothing ensemble that I put her in so much that I ended up using her in a few images of mine. (www.3dcafe.com) The original file was a .COB file and there was no text, readme, or anything else in the ZIP besides the .COB file. -- I converted the .COB file to a .3DS file and then edited it.
