Description

Dear Friends of Renderosity, I'm Nathalie Masson, the companion of Giancarlo LUCERNI.
Giancarlo is dead on the 28 of december 2004, with me, in his house of Carqueiranne in France. He was and remain a great photografer and a genius of Terragen and others grafical programs. I'll miss him every second...
Please think of him for what he's always be : a Free Spirit, and a great lover's of mother Nature.
He will always live in my heart, and in the one's of his son's Stefano and Davide, and in the heart of all our friends. God bless him, and us.

I've just been checking through Giancarlo's work as I wasn't familiar with it. The very first upload of his "La mia Vallata" is very poignant in the cicumstances (with the light rays streaming down to earth from above). My condolences.

Je pense celui qui est parti, et aussi toi, Nathalie, qui a la part la plus difficile. Giancarlo ait quelqu'un d'exceptionnel, dont je me suis toujours senti proche. Je ne l'ai jamais rencontren vrai, mais je me souviens de son portrait sur le site (aujourd'hui ferm des Terragen Friends, une petite photo d'un homme qui avait l'air d'aimer passionnent la vie et le grand air. Je me suis toujours dit que ce type l- avec son amour de la nature et tout le coeur qu'il mettait dans ses images - ait quelqu'un de bien. Ca doit re difficile de vivre sans lui maintenant. Mais il va rester derrie ton aule, j'en suis certain. Olivier

Nathalie, I am very sorry to hear this! I remember Giancarlo from many years ago on the Yahoo Terragen list. He was always a great contributor there, and many still use the surface maps he made available. I lost my father in summer of 2004, so I understand some of how you feel. You have my deepest sympathies. Giancarlo will be missed here.

Nathalie thankyou so much for the e-mail I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend he was an amazingly talented man and for me not only his Terragen work but also his fantastic photography we laughed and had fun and it was aways had great joy in the years we kept in touch it is this most of all I will remember him my love to you and his family..

I would like to thanks all of you, all our friends who have sent a message and a goodbye for Giancarlo. All your messages, all your friendless is a ray of light for me and for the family of Giancarlo, in particular for his sons. Giancarlo will always be in my heart, and in your's too. And his talent, his Art will always remind. In some month's, when the memorial webstite I'll made for him will be on line, I'll send to everybody another message.
