Man...it was almost there...I love what you were trying to do...the ridges in the sand seem more like lines...the atmo and view are super but the overall image seems to lack detail, contrast and sharpness...please keep trying...we need artistic influences like you :)

Agree with Markal, I love the pov though, and the style is very refreshing. Excellent Approach.

Unfortunately it's way too compressed to really see what's there properly, but it does look nice. The atmosphere looks like it could be nice, but the heavy jpg artifacts detract. Perhaps you can replace this with a less compressed version?

Try the jpeg artifact removal tool - works a treat (there's one in PSP not sure about photoshop) love the idea of this pic. Sand is really believable. Great job!

Yus, it's artifacts-a-mundo with the JPG compression here. Great concept and surface/overlay - try using 'Save for web...' command in photoshop,

Cool idea and terrain. And i love the mystical mood in this! Please repost it with less jpg-compression, so i can rank it excellent ;o)

I like it a lot. Reminds me to a scene within the film 'The Day after Tomorrow'. In this scene it's snow kept the city in his hand.

I agree with JavaJones about the JPEG compression. The whole render from a compositional POV is excellent though. I will vote because the JPEG compression can be easily fixed. =)
