Coming along great. When it's done I hope you render a nice shot of it coming right out of the sun, with a niche big lens flare....

As comedian Stephen Wright said, "People accuse me of suffering from insanity. That's untrue, I actually kind of enjoy it." It only get's easier - and I mean that! Good progress.

I don't care if it's not finished. I'm voting.

Insanity occurs when your immunity has a lock on success. At that point denial pushes you over the edge into total inactivity. "We live by faith not works." The propellor will be fun. These old carved betas with minimal twist and taper without elliptical tips produce a cavernous roar when the tunnel unstarts. Lack of circulation and a boundary layer that stratifies weakens the resolve. A Gathering of Eagles is for later. Hiding your checkbook.

Your model is coming along great, yes shading a model can be a real chore but can be real rewarding to.

I like it. I think you're off to a wonderful start. I recently completed a model of this plane myself, so I have a special appreciation of the details you're working on. I UV mapped mine, so I'm interested to see how you go about using shaders. Good work.
