The idea for this kinda came outta nowhere... sorta.. I recently added to my game collection the arcade version of Killer Instinct... one of my all time favorite games... which got me thinking... The game came out in 1994, and back then my so called "art" was utterly horrible... so now that I actualy have something resembling talent, I figured i'd take a crack at it, and here's the result. You may notice something different about the art itself... particularly the outlines... thats because, i've essentially abandoned my old art style(s)... I got sick of them, and after seeing a bit of an inspiration from some of the Metroid Prime 2 concept art, i've stumbled onto something completely new... something different, the way I did this is essentially 100% alien to how i've been doing CG for the past 5 years... so right now it's going to suffer in some areas.... but I think i'll be doing better once I get around the rather steep learning curve....... i'm basicly learning how to do CG all over again... from scratch... This also marks my first artwork of 2005.
