I like the general mood, the colors, the texturing, everything, that is, except the elongated pine cone thingy on the right. It looks as if it was pasted there afterwards, and the thin white line near the top end enhances that look. The abrupt cutoff on the left of the pine cone is also distracting. Otherwise, good work, as always :)

I like the 'gritty' texture a lot! The colors are warm and inviting, albeit a little dark as you said, but I like that :) The only complaint I have is that it is a bit small.
