Description

He came back last night. I could hear his feet on the hardwood floor. Walking, pausing, walking, pausing. The light from the refrigerator shown on the hallway wall and I couldn't handle the idea that he was touching anything in there that I was going to eat. Last night, he took all the fried chicken. After about twenty minutes, he left the kitchen and came down the hall, past the bedroom door where he stopped and looked in. I lay there sweating and trying to swallow. The thing left and I waited a while, before getting up. Luckily, the only thing that was disturbed was that mystery stuff in the tin foil from last year sometime. I opened a beer and again, rehearsed what I'd say if I ever told a pest control company about this. *** remodeled an old refrigerator and then recreated an old image from my first year in Bryce. Let him eat the fried chicken; as long as he leaves the beer alone! Super lighting, Dave.

Ahhh, Dave, I just love your style of humor--sort of an over-elaborate-Gary-Larson-Far-Side. I think you can relax for a while. He came over to our house last night. May you have a happy and productive new year!

The more things change, the more they stay the same, eh? I think someday, super-intelligent roaches will be using Bryce v.9999. Another great idea and render.

OMG My "biggest" fear! Oh how I have empathy for that poor soul! My first year in Florida had me frozen in fear many times from the size and speed of the roaches down here. I just get pissed off now when one makes me jump outside unexpectedly, but in the begining....omg. Great work! Super ambience...wonderful story! (=
