I've been to the Perris Trolley Museum and ridden on the Big Red B Interurban car. Miller of Indy car builder fame worked for Pacific Electric before he began his career. Turning down the ambient lighting and using a more sophisticated indirect lighting scheme could help. It's only render minutes.

It's really nicely composed, but like tallpindo said, those trains and trees and such are a bit too bright for the scene. In addition to turning down the overall ambient lighting in the atmosphere editor, you might also want to turn it down some for each mat in the material editor. Then if you need lighting from the front, you could just put a spotlight in to simulate a train coming from the other direction. Good luck. :)

Agree with the above two comments. Plus you should try some variation in tree arrangement. In nature you can't find trees exactly similiar to one another. So when you are using the same type of trees you should either scale or rotate or edit some of them to create variety. Wish you good luck for your future works.

Ditto the above & I would suggest changing the terrain where the tree are....maybe adding some grass or flowers. Also...is this the end of the track??? It kind of abruptly stops, you might want to extend out the power lines :) Great to see you trying new things!

Good start, not a thing to add to the above - trying to images is perhaps the best way to learn.
