Photography + Photoshop
(Feels like a) long time since last post but now it's time for some 2D. Due to cripling lack of human resources I had to take a photo of myself and do a little creative editing. (By the time I fixed my belly a bit smaller, it started to look like a good idea :)
Some (or many, I don't really know) artist describe the event of pain with dark earth colours, but in my opinion a moment of pain is always crystal clear. Greater the agony, brighter the moment. When I was a kid I got many blows to my head, sometimes someone hit me, other time someone else threw a rock. But the connection was always a bright flash. This is what I wanted to express here.

I love the pose and the choice of colour, even the composition being off to the right is apealing. I also like that the image is ambiguous so even though you have told us what it means to you, i can sill lay my own meaning upon it; to me it represents the moment a new idea comes into my mind. Excellent
