Photography has pretty much changed my life, in that, I look at every little thing differently now. I get so much pleasure being outdoors and finding new things to photograph. It gives me a tickle inside! I love the birds and flowers and all of nature so much. Sharing these treasures with all of you is very much a pleasure too. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them! This has been one of the most fun things I ever done... joining this community, it's given me more courage and confidence to explore what I really love to do... A BIG HUGE THANKS to all my friends here!!!!!!

wonderful capture! rainbowtree is the name of these trees I love very much? I captured one in Scotland and posted it also, but I didn't know the name and I was told that it is an eucalyptustree! ;o)))

yay!! These colourful trees make their second appearance, I love these trees! Its like some kid has come along and coloured them in with a crayon lol. Great high angle, I really feel one with the trees, up high! They do look like eucalyptus, we get the pink gums here...look identical with the smooth, light coloured trunk, no crayon colours though. I think the only way you can tell is to find the leaf, tear it in half, and then smell....Eucalypts have a distictive smell. =)

I just did some research on these trees finally, and they are called Rainbow Eucalyptus, originating in Papua New Guinea, but now grows in lots of different tropical places. It's an extremely fast growing tree 6-10 feet in a year! So Rachel, I think you should plant some in your yard!!!! your grandchildren will love you for it!!! ;)
