Lucistra walks into the Lava Bar. "Sinistra!" The music shuts off. The bar goes silent. Mother Sinistra steps out of the crowd. "Lucistra? What are you doing?" "I killed Tracy and Mandy," she says simply. She drops the blood-soaked hammer on the floor. All eyes fall upon it. Gasps are heard. One young Vixen starts to sob. "You...what?" Sinistra asks, unable to take her eyes from the hammer. "They're dead. Go see for yourself." Ambin glances meaningfully at Sinistra, then slips into the bathroom. Sudden realisation dawns on Sinistra's face. She turns white and begins to tremble. Her eyes shift from the hammer back to Lucistra's face. "Why?" she asks through clenched teeth. Lucistra rolls her eyes dramatically. "Tracy ATTACKED me, mother. I couldn't just let her get away with it." "But I punished her..." "By doing what?" Lucistra spits. "Asking her not to do it again? Somehow I don't see that as a fitting punishment for trying to kill your daughter." Sinistra starts to say something, but no words come. Beads of sweat run down her brow. She looks around the room, at the Vixens banners, at the blood-streaked hammer, at all the eyes upon her. Everything, all that she has worked for, is verging on collapse. Finally, she regains her composure. She steps forward, raises herself to full height, and stares intently into Lucistra's eyes. "We're leaving. You are no longer welcome here." Lucistra shakes her head. "I'm not going anywhere with you. Not this time." Sinistra falls silent for a moment, shocked. "You can't stay here, Lucistra. This isn't our world." She takes a step forward, reaching out to touch her daughter's shoulder. "No!" Lucistra shouts, backing away. She raises the gun. "If you touch me, I'll shoot you. And then I'll shoot everyone else in this place. The whole Vixen legacy will be a memory." Sinistra stops and lowers her hand, unable to do anything but watch as her daughter backs toward the door and runs outside. Out into the real world.
