Description

This lovely fairy was found in my back yard many years ago. All the glows you see are from the original photo. I haven't done that much beyond adding wings.

I know you didn't actually photograph the fairy but the background is so nice. I wish you would give a little info on what you used or how you created it other than photography.

Well, this is underneath it all, a photo. I added wings in photoshop and doubled the right side of the image, but otherwise, it's basically a photo. The purple highlights actually come from working with an negative that has been hanging around for 20 years and got some damage - they were blue spots - and I color shifted them. I think they turned our rather nicely. So, this was done with my old workhorse minolta in my backyard in Santa Barbara. The glows you see are in the photo - probably the result of vaseline on the lens!
