Very happy to have discovered Renerosity! Now between family, pets, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, enjoying life, Second Life-- I'll have to give up sleep and work! (nasty habits anyway) LOLBIOI live in the Adirondack foothills with my family (now extended), pets, too much photographic equipment and snowshoes in a house once home to a "Titanic" survivor. I work in the environmental field when not otherwise enjoying myself. My goals are to keep doing new things and to surprise more strangers by smiling at them! You may run into me in second life as Snogeez Peregrine, There as SnoGeez, and in real life as Larry Glasheen!

guess you'll have to put chains on the tires then :]... this would be neat with this effect but layered with the same sharper image on top at say 50% or more to give it a hint of the painted look

cyn, or he wanted to do like it is? for me it looks like a painting and very effectful! wonderful and impressive work! what about spikes? ;o)

Sossy- those narrow little french racing tires (the green bike is an antique motobecane Grand touring and the nicest ride I've ever known) don't play well w/ spikes (not much there to lag 'em in to!) I'm working on what Cynlee suggested, I think it will produce an image that looks like it was painted w/ smaller strokes (more detail)-Of course laying in the slush for 2 hours w/ a flat tire and a spare that wasrusted onto the underframe rack kinda ate up my time today (LOL!)
