Description

A young dragon attacks a border fort for sport and, of course, a meal.. Just wanted to do a quick test pic with the dragon, and this is the result... For some reason it looks a bit... flat to me, but oh well... Dragon from DAZ3d Armour & sword from RDNA

Good composition and lighting. To fix the flatness (flatosity?) try adding some depth-of-field. You could zoom in a bit closer to the knight, then blur him to focus the camera on the dragon. Maybe adding some motion blur to the dragon would also add a little life. But still, I wouldn't like to be in the knight's shoes right about now!

Nice work but i would suggest turning the highlights down for the dragon to get rid of the shiny skin and it's areal pain but maybe even adding some noise,i have the old Daz dragon and it has that plastic look too.

To avoid the "plastic look" you should use a bump map for the dragon. And to add some depth you could decrease the focal length of the camera.
