Description

1 of 7 This will be a series of seven pictures that I will be posting showing different view of the Mars Explorer USS Shenandoah. I will be showing various views as the ship approaches and orbits Mars. This will also be the first in a larger series showing the Lander USS Chesapeake. That series will show the Mars Lander as it undocks from the Shenandoah, plummets through the atmosphere and lands on the Martian surface. I hope to also show the release of the heatshield and parachute deployment prior to landing. If you would like to see more detail images of all the different hardware in this series as well as many more by me please visit my website at http://www.bambam131.com. Thanks again for taking the time to view and comment on my work. Cheers, David

David, Spectacular!... Thank You for Taking Us on This Fantastic Voyage!... The Detail and Texture on Both the Model and Planets Surface Are Inspiring!... P.S. The Image Size That You Choose to Post These Pictures Is Perfect! Although I have to admit that you are one of the reasons why I had to go out and buy a 21 in. monitor. (No regrets, I use every pixel)

Excellent. This is a very successful image as it gives a sense of the immensity of the planet, compared to the (in itself) very large ship. The texture of Mars is excellent as well, and looks a lot like the 'official' one used in a rather enjoyable program I have called 'Geoplayer Mars'. And who doesn't love that particular part of Mars...the astounding Chasma snaking its way towards the astounding peak of Olympus Mons? May we please we see another render with that mountain visible?

They make 21" monitors? Where do I get one? I'm sorry, David. These are way too perfect. I'm going to have to kill you or I'll never catch up..;-) Vote!

Beautifull as usual David...Mars rendition is superb, though the hint of an atmosphere would add to its realism.
