Description

Well since it is still oddly warm, went out to get more pics today. This is a close up of the head of a Eastern Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa virginica).This one had decided to just take a break on a camellia flower,so I thought I would get some shots of it. Hope you enjoy.

What an incredible photograph!!!! Insects are so fascinating, especially if you can get down to their size like this! It really does look metallic, and the eyes are mesmerizing!!
