The detail on this is insane!! If the rating scale went up to 20, that is what I will give! It looks like a Photo!! Send this picture to George Lucas and he may hire you for the next Star Wars movie!

I saw this at the Newtek Lightwave site... It's the picture I show people when they talk about Maya, or the Brazil Rendering System, or Pixar's Renderman... I also use it when I want to make the point that the Matrix is NOT so far fetched. They should have filmed the showdown between Neo and Agent Smith here, the one in the movie was nowhere near as real...

if it's soo real, can you post the same version of your 2 project, a picture of the work in mesh? juste to see the modeling work :-)

geez..... this is definetly a render... and dont let these blokes get u down man, when i saw the 5737 tag on the right, it was obvious that that was part of the wall texture. so knowing that the wall was textured, i can say without a doubt.... this is a kick a$$ render man.... :)... very good job

I'm happy and surprised to see your stuff here. I've seen your work on Newtek's site as well, along with a lot of other work from other talented artists. Your stuff is top notch, not something many of the Renderosity crowd see (forgive any disbelieving critics.) I'm learning to work with more photorealism in my 3d, you're a great inspiration.

I don't know the first thing about LW, but looking at it carefully you can still tell it's computer-generated, the highlights on the floor for example don't look right, as someone else said. The human brain is quite hard to fool. However, the other two "car" pictures are a different story lol.

All three of the images in your gallery look like photos. Until I see wireframe I'm not sure I can believe it, unless you were using real photo textures ;). Anyway, while I give you the benefit of the Doubt you get an excellent rating.

You deserve this amout of praise, you have a stunning render, and you have created a scene from what most of us artists dream of executing. Killer lighting, textures and modelling. Well done bud! --(V)--
