Description

Normally, I'm not such a fan of abstract images, which is weird because I have 2 hanging in my living room. Those were made by one of my husband's uncles; made in pencil - blue and greys. And I like those! But that is because I see things in them. Now I was trying out the Pythagorean Triple (by Kerry Mitchell) in UF and once I threw out the colours it became this abstract drawing. My daugther said: "Mom, it doesn't look like anything", which of course is the definition of abstract. lol. Well, I'd like to warn you in advance: maybe there will be more! Yvonne

Very sucessful. It's hard to pin down why I think so. Maybe something to do with the 3D feel, like folded paper with panes of glass.

I think this is great Yvonne! I look forward to seeing more. The coloring reminds me of architectural drawings...to a very avant guard...building??

This is just beautiful! I've never been a big fan of abstracts, myself--but something about the simplicity and form in this one just makes me stare! Love it!!!! :)

excellent - this has the simplicity of a geometric pencil drawing and the boxes make it look all the more scaled and mathematical - excellent

A very nice and understated image. I almost passed it by, but once I stopped to look at it I really enjoyed the geometric forms and spare colours.

Sometimes there's more to be seen in abstract work, because it does not distract your thoughts and somehow gives rest. I like it very much!
