Beautiful atmo. Imho, you should have done some post processing here, the contrast is too poor, and the shoreline too straight in the foreground.

It's really rather lovely. The water must have taken ages to render.

For bruno: One fnds the contrast on cloudy days to be not so sharply defined. One can also find shorelines that are very straight, although I also would have preferred it to have more variance. Still... For JosephineAu: The water did take a considerable amount of time being done on a now outdated PIII 866MHz/512Megs RAM system. But it was worth it, I think. For kalu and padawancats: Thank you. :)

This is an outstandingly beautiful picture. It's so good I wish I had done it. The mood is great. Just enough texture. Fantastic job.

I agree that the shoreline is a little sharp. . .I think you would have been able to find the same result of image if you had pushed the POV forward a little so that all you could see was water, with the underground texture prevelent. You should also increase the shadow lightness and work of increasing the contrast in your atmosphere, then fill in with haze a little to bring the softness back in. Fantastic water though!!!!

I also think that you should cut the shoreline part, but the water is really perfect.

Perhaps one of the simplest, and yet most detailed images I've ever seen. One thing that you might be able to improve on though: where the water reaches the shore, try adding a little surf to the water with water works or something to kind of smoothe the transition between water to land. Other than that this image is perfect. Keep up the good work!
