Description

The Eyebot 4000 is a small, self-contained home security monitor, capable of detecting unauthorized persons, smoke, fire, and other emergency situations. It is quiet, efficient, and virtually maintenance-free. Get yours today! I created this little guy as an exercise in modeling and animation, with the extra challenge to see how much gadgetry I could squeeze into a sphere about the size of a softball. The Eyebot is completely articulated, with IK chains controlling the legs. You can see a short 635k DiVX 5 AVI animation of it powering on and opening up here: Eye Robot The four images here represent a bit of a storyboard of the Eyebot in action; rather than posting them separately, I decided to combine them into a single poster. My apologies for the size to those of you on dial-up ;-) Everything modeled, textured and rendered in Cinema 4D XL 7.3. Carpet created with the Hair Department plug-in.
