Description
The same Tabebuia caraiba tree from yesterday ( "yesterday's photo"), but given the "infrared" treatment and then a slight sepia cast in Photoshop.
I'd like to dedicate this image to my wife LISA whose birthday is Thursday. Trees are featured in most of her imaginative watercolor paintings and she is also interested the magickal and spiritual aspects of nature. I think this photo melds both of those subjects and is a fitting tribute to her passionate and expressive art and personality. Happy Birthday sweetie!

Lovely image I really like this. The only thing I would have done is removed the hex mark caused by the sun's glare - but that is just down to preference. Nice work

I love infrared photography. This is a "treatment"? Looks very good. There are a few in my gallery. Good explanation as to why leaves glow in infrared. I had enough trouble explaining the difference between infrared light and infrared heat images to people. (I gave up). I like the flare to. It was right to leave it in. Very nice.
