Description


Here's a pic of the Sir Walter Scott Monument on New Years when the festivities were in full swing! Its very picturesque and is testimony to his contribution to Scottish literature. I just have to actually go in it now and walk up all 287 stairs so I can get the view from the top!

wow... beautiful piece of architecture... reminds me of the drop castles made of wet sand... interesting in contrast with the ferris wheel :] appears a little cut off at the bottom but your vantage point may not have given you much of a view any lower
