Brrrrrr. Lovely, silent, but oh so cold, Jacinthe. It is beautiful. We had a 10 inches / 30 cm fall in some parts of Scotland the other day, and it was so nice to look at. As a country we are never prepared for the bad weather. In Old Canada, I am sure you are never caught out. Unfortunately we had very heavy rain later on. It all became slush. The next morning it was bumpy and icy, and dangerous. Glasgow is built on many round hills called 'drumlins'. The city fathers forget that some grit and some road salt are useful in such circumstances. They just hope that the snow clears itself up! Years ago, in the middle of a snowstorm I was trying to keep a main road clear, when I was almost sandwiched between a runaway lorry and a snowplough. Apparently I did a backward somersault that an Olympic athlete would have been proud of, and lived to tell the tale. Enjoy your winter in Quebec, Jacinthe, but keep warm and in good health. Regards, John.

Et bien tu vois!! Le froid, la neige, la glace sont des sources de beautinuisables. Content de voir que tu te ranges cet avis. Termin la nostalgie de l'automne, alors!?
