Description

I was interested in a big rock I saw in the sea on the right sight of where I stood. It must have fallen straight from heaven and missed the land. I tried to catch it a little closer. If I had time I would have walked over there, but you know how I had to fight against the time in scotland! :o) I appriciate your visit and all valuable comments! ;o)

You get a lot of these offshore pillars and natural chimneys up there; probably the most famous is the Old Man of Hoy. Beautiful photograph - choppy water matches the rough rocky terrain.

I always wondered how can you apply this softness effect in your picture. I can only say that it's fantastic. And very interesting "small" rock in the distance :) As always wonderful framing !
