Description

May what faith we all have in our own gods or goddesses carry us forward. My thoughts and hopes go out to those who died, lay dying, are in need, and their familes.

Thank you for your effort here, but I, being an American, am hoping for revenge on swift wings. It may not be right, but it's the way I feel. Once again, thank you for your thoughts.

Visions540: I agree that justice must be seen in this. Revenge begets only revenge. And revenge and further slaughter don't help those families who have lost so much carry on with their lives. Revenge is a cold and distant thought to the woman who lies dying in the rubble. Revenge is a fleeting thought that only crosses the survivor's minds when lack of comprehension turns to rage for brief moments. The hope of continuing life, preserving dignity, and being able to understand that there are those who have lost all but their memories of happiness... these things all rest in the hands of hope and faith. May they who have lost find such hope in their own faith.

I love the concept behind this image. It would be good to put in some brightness to go with the butterflies and the hope. I would also like to see the detail in a couple of those butterflies, so some larger ones in the front would be nice; perhaps bringing a couple of the closer ones even closer would work well. This would also provide more contrast in size of the butterflies. We must show the world that terrorism loses out to hope and faith.
