Description
I don't normally do 'traditional' pictures, and it makes a fun change, once in a while. You know .. adding props and stuff.
I got this finish using a duplicated layer with the threshold at 94 and then merging using the Hue option. Plus a bit of noise on top and some post work. As always, constructive crit' welcome.
Cheers, Mark

The first impression on this pic is excellent - leaving me feeling very nostalgic (I love native american art) -- The only things I would suggest are putting a little more movement in the mane it looks like wind is blowing from the rear, but the mane is perfect (hehe kinda like a hollywood movie), and there could be some more postwork I think (personal opinion) maybe gaussian the background a little to give some feel for depth of field. But I'm not goin to let those ruin my opinion... EXCELLENT... and VOTE!

Great realistic work! The black/white tones gives a real feeling of an old image... its look like those old photos from the far west...

Great B/W tones.

I like his left half a lot in this one - particularly his hand in the mane.

Great image! My only suggestion would be to gaussian the loin cloth a bit. It is too in focus and draws your eye immediatley.

"...duplicated layer with the threshold at 94 and then merging using the Hue option. Plus a bit of noise on top and some post work..." I thought you were talking about Poser! Couldn't find any of that in the Material Room, try as I might. Guess you meant PShop or something? Nice image. His loincloth looks like he asked for 'extra starch' though. But hey, who hasn't?
