maybe making the water deeper, or slightly darker so the skull is not as visible, and looks more like a ghostly image

Agree with Hillrunner about the sky it would give more color contrast between sky and water.

I agree with hill; perhaps some color in the water too. The idea is great. The first thing that came to mind was maybe a different title; like: 'The Land of the Giants'. Excellent creativity Mike!

I think it's cool as is...any more color in the sky would draw the viewer's attention away from the main point of the image...the skull. Very nicely done...congrats!

Except I would have posted the image with one third sky and two thirds water, the only addition I imagine is ice cracking sounds ;-) Excellent!

Looks very icy...cool image! Spooky iceberg! I think you shouldn't be able to see so far to the horizon, so maybe some fog would be good. It sorta reminds me of an image I made about 7 years ago, take a look if you'd like. www.kramerkreations.com/skullmountain.html

Extraordinary I love the icelike frozen skull !! I would be tempted to do pools of water in the eye orbits or flowing over another time perhaps but love it as is!!
