Description

Another experiment in postwork (now I've got myself a new monitor lol). I'm still feeling a little paranoid about how my work looks on other people's monitors so; if the colours/contrast or anything looks awfull please say so! Also, the main thing here was obviously to try to get the water right and I'm not 100% happy with the foreground so if you have any advice on how to get water to really flow it would great, thanks in advance. Oh, and once again the foam is part terragen part paintshop. TFV and have a nice weekend.:)

Here's something I have found - the standard tube type monitor shows hi-res images very well. Look at the same images on the flat screen LCD and they hurt the eyes. Well - this one needs more lighting. Then in advenced water settings jack with the warp, etc on the shore settings. And 3D clouds - OK if you think they work every time - but no guarantees for good results. These are as good as you'll get unless you try for special FX.

Nice choppy water settings; good concept and lighting; my own posts look better on my DVI monitor at home (crispness), but not as good on my CRT in work (both same rez, both similarly calibrated) - I was dismayed at first, but now my rule is: if it looks good to me, post it!
