Description

"One Uncertain Wish" By David J. Reid aka "Shardz" Software used: Poser 5, Photoshop CS During my usual adventures, escapades, and conundrums this week, I was completely honored and blessed by an astounding amount of very kind comments from my last posting and through Instant Messages. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, advice, and friendship through a very difficult period of time for me. Creating this artwork is a catharsis for me; my attempt at channeling, redirecting, and converting undesirable emotions into something fairly constructive. All of your positive reinforcement has helped me tremendously focus on getting back on track and into render mode; I truly appreciate it endlessly. You did a wonderful job David! I love the green smoke, the mood is awesome. As yes, we all have to work at trying to stay grounded in life. I think it's a constant struggle for us all. And as we get older we have the extra burden of regret and remorse. I'm glad you are working on getting yourself together. Remember (I have to also remind myself often) you are what you think and live. I also have to occasionally "kick myself in the @ss" and remind myself things aren't really as bad as I'd like to make them seem to me. And lately with all the things I've seen others trying to deal with (disasters)it been easier to remind myself.

Hey-I think this looks fantastic!!! The green flames and smoke look very cool!! I love the way the background has so much depth to it, also!!! I always wonder why, when a genie offers 3 wishes, no one ever wishes for unlimited wishes as wish number one!! LOL!! Well, I think your images are looking wonderful!!! EXCELLENT work!!

Its funny how making art can calm the soul and cheer the heart! This is so beautifully done, the colors,pose, and the green fog is fantastic!! I love the colors and dont be so critical of yourself! sometimes I think we get critical when it doesnt come out as we invisioned it but it doesnt mean that anything is wrong with the image that emerges! this is just excellent!!

Well I'm late, but I finally made it....I am loving this image and all it stands for. Your creativity is astounding, and your words most powerful.
