Description

Where the water have been dripping on the ground the old leaves have been covered by little ice-balls. It's a bit like stained glass, but it's entirely naturally formed here. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Ice-tounding! Could be the subject of a quizz game. Guess what's on the picture!

can't beleave that it is natural! looks like from an icemachine for cokes! ;o) a very impressive and excellent capture because of the reflections of the light and the dark colors shining through the transparency! ;o)))

This is totally awesome, Jan Carel!!!! I've never, ever seen anything like this before. I have so many questions about this. What is making the colors? the sunlight? the leaves and ground below? and i've never seen ice formations like this either....little ice balls like this...just never saw this ever in my life, and i've lived in the midwest most of my life where we typically get a lot of ice. how much off the ground is the raised up? and how much of the terrain is covered in ice like this? is it limited to just a few patches here and there, or did you have to walk on a surface like this to make this capture?? this has got to be one your most fascinating images!!! amazing and magnificent capture!!!
