Description


This was my first attempt at spline/patch modelling. I created the wizard for a short film I did for a AIE project. I ended up using a combination of shag and reactor for the hair and beard. The close up of the wizard's head has hair which I originally made out of mesh which didnt animate very well, so that's when I started testing shag/reactor. I also ended up using reactor to simulate the cloth (cape, dress, sleeves and rope). Hope you like...

u should use the sss shader and mental rey to see how he would look like then. i think bump mup would come up really cool.

yeah, i think I will try out the sss shader/mental ray with the wizard, Im guessing i will probably have the same issues that you had with shag not working with mental ray, have you had any more luck with it?
