I've used TIA in a few images, and while I love the effect, it's such a "strong" feeling that I'm wary of it because it's so recognizable. So I was very pleasantly surprised by your treatment of it here. The added texture gives it a new feel, and that you've controlled the TIA so it doesn't appear everywhere helps. Coupled with the great combination of colors (I've always been a sucker for purple) and you've created something very beautiful here.
