Thinking alone in my mind,
searching for something I cannot find.
wondering if this is all real and
not my imagination,
seeking my heart and soul
looking for something
but never knowing just what,
I cannot pretend this is not how
I feel
noone ever understanding the
pain that I conceal.
all my life trapped
to the confines of my
own self.
nonne ever knowing the
the pain I hide within.
its hard to open up
to let anyone see
what is the real me
always scared of what I might feel
never again knowing
if it is ever real
trapped within is this
person I cant let out
afraid of knowing what she is all about
inside me I am very much dead
I hate who I am
and who I cannot be
not ever knowing
was there ever a moment
when I was able to be set free
I am numb and I cant say what I
want to say
afraid it may as it always is,
taken the wrong way
im trapped, im afraid
I want to be free
but I am forever in a cage
a cage within my heart locked
away
is there not anyone who can unlock it
and be that brave?
letting go of everthing I cannot see
for onece never thinking of just me
I want to be free.....
