Description

As this went together, I thought of Escher and how neat it would be to make one of those metamorphosis images he did. In those, the shapes that formed between the birds would be a fish, or something. Then the birds would morph into another animal. Some folks wonder what Escher would have done with a computer. I think he had a very sophisticated one, between his ears. *** Made the bird in Amapi, Used a filterized Bryce image for the backdrop scene. World top mode used.

I love Escher's works. They are very complex and very tricky to do with pen and paper, let alone a PC. This is a great looking image. Nice one.

I love Esher, I believe, and could be wrong, but I believe his first piece in in the optical illusion stuff regarding repetitive images was the birds...You have created a very wonderful and very different form of viewer illusion, you see, your birds are taking flight...out of the box and awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee, if I havent told you before, let me say it now.....YOU ROCK THE VISUAL EXPERIENCE....whewww..smile (=

Occasionally between the NVIATWAS someone comes along and surprises me. It's usually you! Not too shabby between your own two ears as well. Excellent and a Vote!

Definitely Escher-inspired and a wonderful tribute! Love your thoughts on the workings of his brain... :^
