Description

Hi Everyone! Today is my one year aniversary here at Renderosity. I had originally wanted to go back and revisit the very first picture I posted to see how far I'd come in a year, and I may still do that soon. I was really happy with the way this picture came out, so I thought I'd use this one instead. :) I've had the honor of meeting and becoming friends with so many wonderful people here over the last year. I cannot begin to name everyone that has made an impression on me and my artwork but I do want to name a few. It isn't fair I know, but I thank all of you who have supported my work. I can never express how much it means to me and the friendships I've made mean even more. So, here goes... Jess, Kim, Anders, Orietta, Alejandra, Stoffel, Kat, Calum, Dudley, Martina, Rhiannon, ans so many others. I know I'm forgetting so many, please forgive me for that. Big hugs to all of you and thank you so much for all that you have done for me. And another round of hugs for all my friends at home too. :) I've never had a place to share my work where it was appreciated until now... and all of you are the reason for that, and it's all of you that inspire me to keep getting better. So Thank You!! And now for the notes on this picture... I saw a picture of a pulp fiction bookcover from the 1930's I think that looked like this and it was just so cool, I had to reproduce it. Rhiannon's Francisca has such a classic beauty, she just had to be the one. I wish I knew the original artist of the bookcover, but I don't. Thank you Rhi for letting me play with Fran! I'm just sorry it took me so long to use her. A special extra hug to my guardian shadow. Thank you so much for all your help on this picture, it wouldn't be what it is without you.

I'm fascinated of this look - like a vintage cinema-poster. Superb!
