Description
This started as a giant clam or oyster shell made with the
wonderful freeware flame machine Apophysis .
I was never happy with it as it was just missing something.
Enter my "Best Fractal Bud" Rick Spix known here
as Rykk I call him "The Master of Ultra Fractal"
He is the best fractalist I have ever seen hands down.
If it is possible that anyone here is not familiar with
his work you are really missing something special.
You owe it to yourself to visit his gallery.
Please prepare yourself to be amazed. Rick is an amazing Artist
and a great person as well.I also hear he plays a mean guitar.
Back to the image.
Rick told me to send him the image and he will see
what he could do. Not only did he create and add
the beautiful pearl, he also replaced the ugly black
background and added a new one to set the image off.
If that wasn't enough he also suggested the name
Poseidon's Prize.
I am so happy and honored to have (dare I say) collaborated
with "The Master" that I couldn't wait to post and share.
Thank you my friend,
Michael

Another beauty made even better with Rykk's magical touch. I really like the wallpaper version as it gives the appearance of being in water. An excellent collaboration for sure.

Gasp! Jaw dropping image! Absolutely gorgeous. You are right about Rykk and his exceptional artistry, but you are as great an artist in your own right. Marvelous collaboration! Bravo and thanks to both of you.

Hey, don't sell yourself short, bud - that flame is incredible and is what makes the whole image rock! And I never would have tried to make a fractal pearl if you hadn't suggested it for this clam. Thanks for the honor and privelege of letting me play with a classic melancon flame - one of the coolest ones I've seen!

Wow...thanks for sharing this gorgeous joint venture work!!. Black backgrounds, in most cases, are the best to enhance the main work, but would have been out of place here. Very well done!!
