I loooooooove this painting. So creepy and organic and abstract. I could look at this for hours, days, weeks even and still find new and unusual delights hidden within. Top work, babe, top work :) No {8(|)s.

Wow Cass, I never would've guessed you'd take it in this direction! Is it even the same one you abandoned months back or is it a remake? Love your use of colour here, this is the sort of colour scheme I'm trying to coax myself into from time to time L, I can tell you have a fair few layers of built-up colour here! As Pat wink said, I could look at this time and time again and be in a slightly different headspace on each occasion. It's beautiful my friend, I don't think I can do it justice with a comment LOL. Thank you so much for sharing this! hugs :-)

Thanks everyone :) This is actually the same image I posted as a wip and abandoned for some months. Thanks to dear Christian's geometrics of late, I was inspired enough to find how to finish this monstrosity to the stage I actually like it. :)

Wickedly cool work my dear... this one is intense to look into. I say look into because I simply cannot look 'at' it without it drawing me in deeper.

Just watching, and admiring... the colors, the tactile movement, all that depth - make my head spinning :-) Amazing work! I'm all lost with words before this experience! Thank you so much, Cassie! hugs :-D

I think I could have guessed that this was your work, Cassie. Whether abstract or (sur)realism, you have your own special signature. From your comments though I guess that this has been less than easy to realise. Your brute talent seems to have dragged this to a high enough standard! This pic is curiously 2D and in appearence. Like vegetable matter squashed more or less flat! Makes me think it would be nice to get rid of perspective for a while and just concentrate on the beauty of the surface...

I should hope you can like it Cass, I love it! The intensity & depth have had me sat here staring unable to tear my eyes away for ages! It seems to have evolved a life of it's own, very different from what your WIP would suggest, but a very powerful & impressive one in the end, I'm so glad you finally finished it. Now I'll just sit & lose myself in it some more.......... ; )

I love the colours and wonderful way you have textured this piece of work Cassie, especially the symmetry it has. The change from dead matter (in one sense) to alive (in another sense) seems to me to be very significant to you that you portray it here. Perhaps to say even the most dead of us can always change and become growing, feeling creatures... a wonderful sentiment, and further proof (as if it was ever needed) of the talents of your brush.

When I first opened this, my initial thought was, why, that looks familiar...and there's a reason!L I had wondered what happened to this WIP, and I'm so glad to see it completedHUGS It came out beautifully, very alive and reaching out from the canvas. It's yet another example of your jawdropping talent with watercolour, as it's so intricate and crisp.

This is like some wonderful plant bursting open to spread its seeds, I like the deep earthy colours, you have certainly been creating some wonderfully thoughtful work lately a joy to share.

A brilliant idea done with style. I've got that urge again to send you loads of money for letting me look at this! I just hope it doesn't make it to my dreams.... a bit too scary for that! That is one of your sides that I like the most, the slightly darker side....I remember the impact the clown had on me in eh...was it called "strings"? OoooOOOOoooohh Scarrrrrry!
